Tuesday, May 02, 2006 Look at how much work I have to do today: It's not the whole department's work you know? These files belong to only 1 of them. Can you imagine? I don't even have space on my neat table to read my newspapers!! These files belong to 1 senior assistant who has recently been "made" to do only admin stuff. It's pretty much a grey area cuz she's no longer doing claims, but she still retains her position, and her pay. It irks the rest of my colleagues because it means that they'll have to do all her back log, and her back log consists about 200 files. It is alot of work. I guess life's never fair. If the upper management decides what you do, you can grumble, you can complain but you still have to take it or leave it. I mean, why should she be taking in the same amount of pay when all she does are reports and admin stuff? It's like after clearing my back log, I still have to clear someone else's back log and if I can't finish, I get the blame? No wonder the turnover rate is so high. I would resign too, if that's the way I'm treated. I don't mind doing extra, but, you need to show me that the system is fair. I tell you, if this particular colleague dares to claim OT, the rest of the colleagues will probably stage a protest.
